GPS RUGBY CLUB COACHING SYMPOSIUM 2019

A key objective for GPS Rugby Club is to help our coaches at all levels improve. Obviously, better coaching leads to better rugby players! As such, our Director of Rugby Elwee Prinsloo has organised a first class coaching symposium from 9am to 1pm on Sunday 10th February at GPS Rugby Club.

The event is for all Junior and Senior coaches. However, we would welcome any coaches from surrounding schools or junior clubs, such as Everton Park or Albany Creek GPS – who would like to upskill for the morning to join us. We are lucky to have access to great resources, so best to share it with the wider Queensland rugby public to help grow the game.

Sessions will be run by the following coaches:

• Shane Arnold (Australian 20’s Coach and former Reds backs coach)
• Pat Richards (Director of Coaching QRU)
• Michael Crank (QLD Schoolboy coach and former QLD player)
• Pat O’Connor (Former Western Force, NSW Waratah player)
• Pete Ryan (Fiji & Reds defensive coach, Brumbies D coach and former NRL player)
• Trevor Gillmeister (League legend)

Thank you to all the coaches for volunteering their time, and the Reds staff for donating their Sunday to grassroots rugby.
